Business Control Dept, APD (HKG) - Trade Services
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process and perform checking of of all types of Import and Export trade transactions including all types of L/C and amendment issuance; import/export bills, loan and acceptance initiation and settlement; shipping guarantee issuance and redemption, Non-trade Bonds/Guarantee/Standby L/C, etc. in accordance with established procedures and in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Compile and check trade monthly outstanding report for customers, Banking Returns and other MIS reports as directed by supervisor.
- Support to provide business requirements in any trade system project, perform required system testing and subsequent enhancement or modification tasks from user perspective.
- Assist in training and guiding junior clerical colleagues in transaction processing skill, knowledge, and system operation.
- Provide support to Customer Services team as may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
- Complete secondary school education with 3-5 years hands-on banking experience in import & export trade operations.
- Degree or diploma holder with less experience can be considered.
- Knowledge and practical experience in applying ICC rules, including UCP600, URC522, ISBP, ISP98 and URDG 758, etc. required.
- Transaction screening knowledge in trade related compliance, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism under international and government authority regulatory requirements.
- Good adaptability and able to work under multi-tasks environment.
- A team player and able to maintain a pleasant relationship with colleagues.
- PC skills in Words and Excel required.
