Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (三井住友銀行) (incorporated in Japan with limited liability) is one of the major international banks and a leading arranger of specialized financial products worldwide.  The Bank's Hong Kong Branch is now seeking high calibre individuals with long-term career objectives to apply for the following position:

 

Contract Officer (12 month) -

Operations Department - Corporate Payment Services 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process various types of inward / outward payment, internal transfer, local and foreign as well as cross-border transactions via different payment systems in compliance of internal policy and procedure. 
  • Perform day-end reconciliation and ensure all transactions are completed on time without omission. 
  • Prepare various regulatory reports as required.
  • Administration support in any transaction processing areas as may be directed by supervisor from time to time. 
  • Participate in system enhancement and user acceptance test.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or above, Diploma/Degree holder preferable.
  • 3 years of experience remittance operation with wide experience in operations areas.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a customer focus and service-oriented attitude.
  • Good knowledge in payment transaction related compliance checking against AML and anti-terrorism.
  • Good PC skills in MS Office. VBA, MS Excel Macro, Alteryx would be an advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Less experience will be considered as Assistant.
