Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Act as Senior RM in a client coverage team for driving a sustainable growth of designated portfolio of Hong Kong Conglomerate & Large Corporate business
Manage a small client coverage team to drive sustainable business growth within banking scope in various aspects including risk, profitability and funded asset etc.
Deepen the institutional relationship of top-tier corporate clients for driving the achievement of business goals for East Asia Division, including the annual profit plan, account development and product teams engagement to influence top management/decision makers at prospective clients
Prepare periodic management reporting and data analytics, and strategic review on team performance
Enhance the team productivity by resources re-allocation, reshaping team culture and process re-engineering etc.
Originate and structure new transactions at bankable risks, and ensure proper internal clearance (including credit approval and periodic monitoring) and smooth end-to-end execution on timely basis
Boost share wallet by providing value-adding banking solutions through collaboration with product teams and/or other stakeholders in SMBC group, including FX, swap, DCM and M&A etc.
Nurture junior team members’ attitude and skillset as a professional corporate banker

Requirements:

•   Over 10 years corporate banking relationship management experience in reputable banking institutions, with at least 2 years at managerial role
•   Track record in sustainable growth of credit portfolio of Hong Kong Conglomerate & Large Corporate business in various sectors
•   Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
•   Bachelor degree in Business / Finance / Economics and other related disciplines (Master degree would be an advantage)
•   Sound knowledge of corporate banking products and services for large corporate clients (such as loan, transaction banking, FX, derivative etc.)
•   CFA / FRM / CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
•   Fluency in English and Chinese
•   Good presentation, analytical and writing skills
