Vice President -
Global Credit Department (Hong Kong)
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review, assess and prepare credit recommendation of applications prepared by front office, and compose sound recommendations for seeking approval from relevant authorities on a timely manner
- Be vigilant and highly alert to creditworthiness of clients including market situations, provide advice to the related departments on proper credit-related actions whenever necessary
- Perform credit risk analysis to existing customers as well as industry or market research and analysis to ensure the bank’s asset portfolio is in good shape
- Highlight potential credit risks of customer and provide comments and recommendations to management
- Answer enquiries from other relevant departments, head office or regulatory bodies on related matters when necessary
- Handle ad hoc project as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder or above, preferably in Finance, Banking or Economics related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in corporate lending or credit risk management with exposure mainly in mainland China and Hong Kong market
- Familiar with various corporate finance facilities, structured finance such as property finance, project finance and LBO.
- Independent, attend to details, good analytical and problem-solving skills
- A good team player with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Proficient in using PC and MS Offices
