Vice President -

Operations Department - Corporate Payment Services 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Approve and supervise all types of transaction processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Monitor daily transaction flows, manage currency and system cut-off times, and oversee pooling operations.
  • Manage transaction volume variations, processing risks, and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and investigate suspicious transactions to prevent payment fraud and report findings to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AMLO).
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of regulatory and financial reporting.
  • Maintain proper custody of customer agreements and related documents.
  • Lead system development and enhancement projects to improve processing capabilities and straight-through processing (STP) ratios.
  • Formulate and regularly review operational procedures to enhance productivity and risk management.
  • Provide professional customer service and technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify training needs, develop staff, and foster teamwork within the department. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or tertiary education preferred.
  • Experience in remittance operations with at least 5 years in a team leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations, compliance checks related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-terrorism regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-oriented, mature, innovative, and capable of driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills to handle complex transaction processing and risk control decisions.
  • Competence with payment systems, remittance platforms, and relevant software tools. Alteryx knowledge would be an advantage. 
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
